I'm the founder of Hey Shaunie Styling Company, and for the past decade, I've been helping women build wardrobes that actually reflect who they are. Not who they used to be, or who they think they should be, but who they are right now.

Before I became a stylist, I worked in corporate retail as an Assistant Buyer and in Visual Merchandising for a major retailer in the Southeast. My days were spent curating assortments, ensuring every brand and visual told the right story and connected with our consumer. I learned to see clothing as more than just products. They're tools for identity, confidence, and transformation.

But here's the truth: I've always been this person. The one analyzing outfits in movies and TV shows. The friend everyone texted asking, "What should I wear?" or "Does this look okay?" Styling has been my love language for as long as I can remember. I just didn't know I could turn it into a career until the pandemic gave me space to think. In 2020, like so many of us, I hit pause. I asked myself what I wanted the next chapter of my life to look like.

And the answer was simple: I wanted to do what makes me come alive, helping women feel empowered, confident, and completely themselves through what they wear. So I did it. And over the past 10 years, I've styled everyone from NBA wives to therapists stepping onto national TV stages. I've partnered with brands like Nike, CRVA, Macy's, and Bravo's Top Chef.

I'm based in Charlotte, NC, and I studied Public Relations (not fashion, surprisingly). But PR taught me something critical: perception matters. How you show up, whether it's in a boardroom, on camera, or just living your everyday life, shapes how you're seen and how you feel. And when you feel confident in what you're wearing? Everything shifts. You show up bigger. You take up space. You open doors you didn't even know were there. That's the work I do. I help women cut through the noise, the trends, the "shoulds," and build wardrobes that are intentional, investment-focused, and aligned with their real lives. Because getting dressed shouldn't be stressful. It should feel like the easiest, most empowering part of your day
